British Airways Flights – Queen Alia Airport

British Airways has two flights leaving from Amman in Jordan; both of these flights are code share flights with other airlines which means they are operated by a partner airline carrier on British Airways behalf.

The flights are carried out by British Midlands International, also known as BMI, and are also partnered with US Airways, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Air Canada as well as British Airways.

The airport in Amman in Jordan that the flights arrive and depart from is the Queen Alia International Airport. The Queen Alia International Airport is a small to medium size airport with just under five million passengers passing through its terminals every year. The airport also has three terminals, two of which are passenger terminals.

The airport is located twenty miles (thirty two kilometers) from the city of Amman. The city of Amman is a large city of some two and a half million people and is the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Many people fly to Amman all year round to enjoy the hustle and bustle of this fast paced city or to come and bask in its history. Amman has a history spanning back to eight thousand years BC and is such a special place to visit because of the history on show.

British Airways always strives to deliver great destinations at low prices, this is evident in the great destinations in Jordan that are on offer to and from Queen Alia International Airport.
