Airport:
Allama Iqbal International Airport is the second largest airport in Pakistan for civil aviation. The airport gained its name from the poet-philosopher Allama Iqbal who is famous in Pakistan for being a great supporter in the countries foundations.
The airport is commonly called Lahore Airport, the reason for this is that it only lies eight kilometers (just under six miles) from the bustling city of Lahore.
